Bike and Wine

Jablan is our family-run winery, perched on a hill above Rvaši, a historic village known for its natural springs and long winemaking tradition. We are located right by Lake Skadar, so it is easy to add a winery stop while you explore the lake, its villages, and the surrounding nature.

We make only a few thousand bottles per year, so everything is small scale, done in pace with nature, and with low intervention. We work with local grapes like Vranac and Krstač, ferment naturally, and avoid chemicals and shortcuts. Some of our wines are made in Georgian amphoras (qvevri), which gives them a very special character. We also have very old vines in the area, and we keep improving the vineyards with respect for the land.

If you are joining one of our trips, you can combine your bike tour with a wine excursion. Ride through the Lake Skadar countryside, then come to the winery for a relaxed visit, a walk through the vineyard, and a guided tasting. If you want to slow down even more, you can also stay close by and enjoy the views, the quiet, and a glass of wine at the end of the day.
