Day 1: Arrival to Montenegro's Historical Gem - Cetinje
Your journey begins with your individual arrival at one of the nearby airports: Dubrovnik, Tivat, or Podgorica. Opt for a convenient airport transfer to your initial destination in Cetinje, where you’ll be welcomed by our team.
Get familiarised with your tour itinerary during an informative briefing session, receive essential tour documents, and ensure a comfortable bike rental fitting before your adventure kicks off.
Day 2: Cycling through Montenegro's Rustic Heartland
Hop on a picturesque journey to the expansive Lake Skadar, the largest lake in the Balkans. Pedal along the historic route linking Cetinje to Rijeka Crnojevića, soaking in the charm of Montenegro’s countryside.
Cross scenic paths bordering the azure waters of the lake, until you arrive at Virpazar, renowned as the heart of Montenegro’s esteemed wine region. Delight in sweeping panoramas of the lake and indulge in the flavours of the famous Vranac wine.

Day 3: Panoramic Splendor and Timeless Trails
Set off from Virpazar towards Ostros, navigating charming winding roads offering captivating vistas. Soak in the breathtaking panoramas of the Balkan Alps, known as the ‘cursed mountains’ (Prokletije), with towering peaks reaching over 2,000 meters.
Dip yourself in the timeless allure of the landscape as you pedal along, surrounded by natural beauty at every turn.

Day 4: Cross-Border Ride
Embark on a memorable border-crossing adventure from Montenegro into Albania.
Follow the main road to Shkodra, Albania’s second-largest city, where you’ll encounter a warm welcome from locals accustomed to cyclists. Take some time to wander through the charming ancient city centre of Shkodra, absorbing its rich history and vibrant atmosphere.

Day 5: Drin River Cycling and Culinary Delights
Bounce on a delightful cycling journey to the Drin River, where you’ll treat yourself to a memorable lunch at one of Albania’s finest dining establishments, the slow-food restaurant ‘Mrizi I Zanave’ (Garden of the Fairy).
After indulging in exquisite cuisine, you have the option to either cycle back along the same scenic route or take advantage of our shuttle service for a relaxing transfer to Lovcen National Park in Montenegro.
Day 6: Serpentine Road Descent to the Bay of Kotor
Embark on an exhilarating descent from Lovćen National Park to the picturesque Bay of Kotor. Following the famous Austro-Hungarian serpentine road, you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views as you cruise downhill for over 30 kilometres.
Don’t forget to pause at scenic spots along the way for memorable photo opportunities. Conclude your journey directly in front of the charming Old Town of Kotor, where you can absorb the delightful Mediterranean atmosphere.
Day 7: Exploring the Bay of Kotor
Cap off your cycling adventure with a delightful exploration of the picturesque Bay of Kotor. Dive into the enchanting sights and sounds as you pedal along the coastline.
Don’t forget to visit the charming sailor’s town of Perast, renowned for its baroque architecture and iconic church islands. With a route that hugs the coastline, you’re in for a scenic journey filled with memorable moments.
