Day 1: Compelling Arrival in Trebinje

Start your adventure with an arrival in Trebinje, Bosnia & Herzegovina, where the buzz of anticipation fills the air. 

Check into your centrally located hotel, where you’ll receive a warm welcome and a quick briefing on the exciting journey ahead. Get ready to gear up and hit the road as you prepare for an unforgettable cycling experience!

DAY 2 MISSING

Day 3: Bay of Kotor Bliss

Saddle up for a day of blissful exploration along the captivating Bay of Kotor. Pedal your way along the shimmering shoreline, soaking in the breathtaking vistas and coastal charm. 

Journey through postcard-perfect villages like Risan and Perast, and pause to immerse yourself in rich history and cultural heritage of these coastal gems, before continuing onward to the historic Old Town of Kotor. 

Here, a shuttle awaits to transport you to the captivating Old Bar. Gear up and get ready to discover the beauty of Montenegro!

Day 4: Olive Grove Odyssey to Shkodra

Undertake an unforgettable journey through the lush olive groves and ancient landscapes of Montenegro, as you pedal your way towards the historic city of Shkodra in Albania. 

Along the route, marvel at the sight of majestic olive trees that have stood the time for over 2000 years, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich agricultural heritage. Traverse scenic secondary roads that wind through the picturesque olive groves surrounding Bar, fondly known as the ‘olive-oil capital’ of Montenegro. 

Enjoy panoramic views of vast valleys as you make your way towards the Ulcinj-Shkodra road, following its path all the way to the captivating city of Shkodra. Prepare to be enchanted by the natural beauty and cultural wonders that await in this historic Albanian gem!

Day 5: Albanian Adventure & Culinary Delights

Here, we present you with two enticing options for exploration, both offering a blend of cultural immersion and culinary indulgence in the heart of Albania.

Option A: Hop on a scenic cycling journey to the picturesque Drin River, where you’ll be treated to a delectable lunch at one of Albania’s finest dining establishments, the renowned Slow-food restaurant ‘Mrizi I Zanave’ (‘Garden of the Fairy’). 

Along the way, marvel at the imposing dam of the Drin River and immerse yourself in the authentic charm of Albanian village life. Choose to return by bike, savouring the stunning landscapes, or opt for a convenient return transfer. 

 

Option B: Explore the tranquil shores of Lake Skadar on a leisurely cycling tour, meandering along scenic pathways to charming fish restaurants nestled along the lake’s edge. 

Delight in the serene beauty of the landscape as you pedal your way to a delightful culinary experience by the water’s edge. 

Day 6: Monastic Marvels in Skadar Lake National Park

Embark on a seamless transition from Albania to Montenegro as we shuttle you across the border, marking the beginning of an amusing journey through the stunning landscapes of Skadar Lake National Park. 

Brace yourself for a challenging yet rewarding panoramic adventure as you traverse a narrow road high above the shimmering expanse of Skadar Lake. Your route leads you to the picturesque village of Virpazar, where you’ll be greeted and whisked away to the historic town of Cetinje, ready to uncover its treasures. Prepare for breathtaking views and unforgettable moments along the way.

Day 7: Lovćen National Park - Serpentine Symphony to Kotor

Prepare for a thrilling descent from the majestic heights of Lovćen National Park to the sparkling shores of Boka Bay. Your journey unfolds along the legendary Austro-Hungarian serpentine road, renowned for its mesmerising panoramas of the Bay of Kotor. 

 After conquering the initial ascent, brace yourself for an exhilarating ride as you navigate over 30 kilometres of winding roads. Feel the rush of the wind as you soak in the breathtaking vistas that unfold before you, marking the perfect crescendo to your cycling odyssey. 

Day 8: Farewell & Departure

After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to bid farewell to your cycling adventure. Reflect on the memories made and the miles conquered as you prepare for your onward journey. Optional transfers to Dubrovnik airport are available for your convenience or consider extending your stay to explore more of this captivating region at your leisure.
